Here’s my top 12 point getters for next year. You should be taking two of them with your top 2 picks.

    1. Sidney Crosby
    2. Joe Thornton
    3. Alexander Ovechkin
    4. Dany Heatley
    5. Jaromir Jagr
    6. Jason Spezza
    7. Vincent Lecavalier
    8. Martin St. Louis
    9. Ilya Kovalchuk
    10. Marion Hossa
    11. Scott Gomez
    12. Marc Savard

    EDIT

I was vacant to place Iginla, but who knows how the Keenan business will work out. It’s too much of a gamble for me to take him. Also, I’m vacant by rumours that say Gomez will play on Jagr’s line. I doubt Drury will play with him to start because he is a better 2nd pool liner than Gomez, because he played that role in Buffalo.

  • The Caseman:

I expect a huge year from Iggy.

  • Gilbert G:

Obviously try for Crosby, Thornton, Lecavalier, or Heatley if they aren’t already picked. But at 6th and 7th pick, you should try and get Hossa, St. Louis, Briere, Savard, Iginla, Sakic, or Jagr.

    EDIT: Oh I forgot Ovechkin.

  • Bob Loblaw:

The largest piece of advice I can give you is to look at your categories. If there are as many or more categories for the goalies as there are for skaters then look at goalies early. Especially with 6 players, lots of skaters will be available but there are only a handful of premiere goalies, if you can get 2 top ones, you are ahead of the curve.
Alot of it depends on your league settings. Rotisserie or head to head? Daily line-ups or weekly (weekly you really only need one top goalie)? Too amny factors to consider for a definitive answer.

if the obvious picks(Ovechkin,Spezza,Crosby,Thornton)Id give Nash a try.Itll either make u look very excellent or very terrible.I reckon this is his year.

  • simmychick:

    J.P. Dumont (Nashville)
    Paul Kariya (St. Louis)
