I have been to Prudential, it was a nice new building but the location alone is enough to rank it low. I don’t know, all the new ones seem very similiar to me. Ballparks are a different tale, they are more unique from one another but I find arenas similiar.
I’ve only been to two: the ACC and the arena the Sens play in (I really should start calling it by its name since I’m working for them now). The ACC is more open and luxurious, while the Sens’ arena (oops) is more cramped, bricks and mortar, just the essentials basically. But the people of Ottawa are much friendlier and better than the people of Toronto, so that gets high marks. Bottom line, I prefer the ACC.
UND Fighting Sioux’s home — the Ralph Engelstad — that is one of the worlds best. even even if no NHL team plays there. It will WOW you the sec. you walk in. No terrible seats. First Class 100% top to bottom.

I’ve been to a few, but Nationwide is just absolutely gorgeous. Although I’ve never sat somewhere above the lower bowl. I just like the feeling of it, the space you really get when sitting. Plus some of the best fans considering we’ve never even hinted at the playoffs til now.
The Excel Energy Center is awesome, but I am from MN so my opinion is definetly biased.
As for the Ralph in Grand Forks…the only terrible seats are in the student section where standing is not allowed because it blocks the view of the people in the suites…the designer should be tarred and feathered. The ancient Ralph was way better and had an insane atmosphere that really intimidated the opponents.
i like madison square garden, but the new prudential center is sweet fancy stuff.
hopefully pittsburgh when they erect the new one
Haven’t been to the Rock yet, but Colorado, Minny and Toronto all have really nice barns.
I hear the Columbus arena is sweet sweet but haven’t been there either.
Nationwide Arena!! – Columbus
Jobing.com arena is the best and gorgeous.

MSG is a dump
Air Canada Center – Leafs wud be my second choice!
I could probably give a better answer had I been to any above and beyond the RBC Center….
But when we took my 4-year-ancient niece to the RBC Center, she looked at it and exclaimed, “I like what they’ve done with the place!!”
So apparently she thought it was sweet fantastic.
Minnesota’s Xcel Energy Center and Dallas’s American Airlines Center.
