Yes. both equippment and skates are for boys and girls, different brands might fit different people better but its all the same.

There is shoulder pads and hockey skates for girls. as far as i know.
and also hockey sticks ( the pink ones) =P

BUT I PERSONALLY like the guy skates and shoulder pads better… Loss-er i guess ??

    Guys wear Jocks
    Girls wear Jills

The crotch (for lack of a better term) is significantly different. Guys wear jocks, which are more rounded and made of a sturdy plastic cup. Girls wear a jill, which is more just like a thick layer of padding.

The rest can be frequently unisex, but you can get girl-specific shoulder pads (they have added breast safeguard) and even hockey pants (since girls tend to have a different waist/pelvic design than boys, you can get pants that fit less vital around the waist area but that have the same safeguard and the same leg room as the boys pants.

The rest as far as I know is the same.

There is equipment available specifically for girls with the exception of helmets, shin pads and elbow pads. Women do not have the choice available to men, but there are most certainly equipment options out there just for them.

The difference is in the cut. Women in general have more curves than men so I would take upon yourself the pants are cut to accommodate this. Mission is the only company I am aware of that makes a hockey skim specifically for women. The shoulder pads have added breast safeguard.

Most of the women players I know chose to wear the men’s equipment anyway most likely because they just have better options for finding a excellent fit.
