i really dont have a least favorite, all hockey teams are excellent, but my favorite is the Colorado Avalanche, they had like a bunch of my favorite players, sakic, forestberg, roy, and Colorado’s like my favorite state
their jerseys were sweet too like the classic, name obliquely down the front and tie up at the neck
My Favorite Team is the Florida Panthers.
I really do not have a team I despise. All teams have something that I delight in watching about them. I do but want them to lose when they play the Panthers .
I LOVE the Red Wings and I’ve been watching them since I was 4 even even if I’m not from Michigan. I used to “despise” the Avalanche because of their rivalry with the Wings but it seems like it has died down and now I “despise” (more like “strongly dislike”) the Penguins for various reasons but I reckon most of my dislike towards Pittsburgh is because they will be a excellent team when given more experience and that is always a threat to anyone’s favorite team.
I despise the teams that are doormats for more than a year and get rewarded at the draft like the Penguins and LA. Gotta respect the opposite with Detroit & NJ earning it honestly now.
Pre Lockout, I would been hating the huge spenders Flyers, Detroit, NYR, Colorado, Toronto.
My least favorite team, currently, is the Calgary Flames… they seem to be such bitches come playoff time. I also didn’t appreciate the golf reference they made to the struggling Blue Jackets near the end of last season.
I have, and always will, despise the New Jersey Devils. I strongly dislike the Florida teams as well. If I were watching a Lightning vs. Devils game I would stick for the Lightning.
I respect NJ players greatly, but I’m from PA and in no way, shape, or form would I ever wish for accomplishment to grace the Devils. My douchebag brother-in-law is a Devils fan as well. I can despise him by proxy when I watch a Devils game.

(I have a soft spot for the Pens. I’m from NEPA and the AHL Pens are aptly in my backyard. When they play the Phantoms I stick for the Baby Pens. Hometown teams beat out affiliate loyalties anyday. I like Detroit too…at least as far as the Western Conference is concerned.)
