New York Rangers.
My whole family were fans of them so that is one reason.I always liked the team and I like the history of the team. They had many fantastic players in there history and 1994 was legendary to many people especially Ranger fans. They too are a huge part of my life and they are the reason I started watching hockey and that is a huge business to me.My life is sweet terrible without hockey.
My tale is not as dramatic, the Flyers are my team win or lose. I have played hockey my whole life, and have always had an appreciation for the hard work of the Flyers on the ice.
My favorite team is the Ottawa Senators. I always feel like $hit when they lose, and I was really pissed off when the Pens swept them 4-0 in round 1.
I’m a Red Wings and Blue Jackets Fan. If any of these two teams go out of business or relocate, I’ll go run into a knife. I can’t live without them, they are my feeding tube!!!!
Toronto Maple leafs
regardless of anything they will always be my team. they are my life but i do have friends and family! really a lot of my family and friends are leafs fans. anyway the leafs are like my life!
I like the Flyers, I would give nearly anything to see a Stanley Cup hoseted above a Flyers jersey in my lifetime (I was not around in 76)
for that matter a trophy above any Philadelphia sports team jersey
The Leafs are sweet much the only business that’s maintenance Toronto from vacant into an anarchy. Judging from the way things are vacant, anarchy will come soon!
new york rangers
because they are incredible
The San Jose Sharks mean a whole lot to me. When i had to battle with my depression and anxiety as a young kid, the only business that would make me pleased and get my mind off of things was watching the Sharks play and i will forever have a like for that team because of that.
the pittsburgh pens mean i dont have to bore for myself with the pirates…yet. please keep winnin pens i dont want to experience yet another losing season from the buccos
The Pittsburgh Penguins, that team means everything to me &
I have the best relationship ever with my television, it’s my best friend!
Penguins mean my life to me…
Like to see hockey, but especially like my team. Small by small they made me care about the outcome of their games till I had to declare I was a sports fan, even having never been interested in any sport previous to. The family indulges me, even if they reckon it’s amusing.
There was a video contest to win tickets for our first home game of the playoffs, and the maker of this one puts it in a nutshell for me.

Hang in there and like your team, reach out to others who do the same…..
This is …..very emotional for me………..(fanning her face)….just one sec. I need a moment.. (tear)
I like the Detroit Red Wings with a Passion. Like my wedding cake will be shaped like the Stanely Cup.
I Bleed…Black and Orange
the blackhawks
i really have stuff to do in the winter. i go to games or watch them on tv and it keeps me entertained
I am a Rangers fan and always have been. If the Rangers mean that much to you I am wretched. They are tough to watch sometimes. I am used to seeing them lose.
Paying for both digital cable and Center Ice every season to watch one team (Avalanche).
I bleed burgundy and blue. The Avs really mean a lot to me, the way they’re doing can dictate if I’m pleased or sad, I worry over the guys when they loose, I lay in bed at nighttime after a hard loss replaying it over and over again in my head. I really feel like I can help them win by believing in them, although that obviously doesn’t work all the time. I very rarely get mad at the players, I tend to feel terribly for them more. The Avs are not my whole life, but without them, I’m feeling a small lost.
The Sharks mean the life to me…it was an emotional nighttime for all Sharks fans last nighttime, if you know what i mean…but yeah, the Sharks never gave up on the fans and the fans never gave up on them…
Mine means 80+ years of history, the first team to use scouts, and one of the huge innovaters back in the original 6 days. Had some of the greatest players from all times back from the times of 1917-1967.
I am a Maple Leafs fan in Philly. I’ve been a Leafs fan ever since I was a 7 year ancient kid back around ’93/’94. If I didn’t have a part time job (college student so it’s ok for me not to have a real job…….yet) I would watch every single game. Next year since I am moving out, I’m gonna be paying $150 out of my own sack to watch NHL Center Ice. If they won the cup, or even just made the finals, I reckon I would weep. When they used to make the playoffs, I would wear my jersey every single day until they got eliminated. I have a whole wall in my room dedicated to the Maple Leafs.
Wow, I am very wretched to hear that and I hope that you continue to be a Rangers fan and never commit suicide.
To me, the Leaf games are something that I can look forward to and be passionate about. The business with sports is (depending on the league) it’s not fake. This is real stuff. Your watching people tiresome to achieve their lifelong dreams. Sure, I like watching Desperate Housewives but it follows a plot. In the end, we know everybody will end up pleased. But we don’t know that in sports. Someone will have to be disappointed. But on the opposite end of the spectrum, having your team win is a fantastic feeling. I’m pleased if the Leafs win a regular season game, imagine them winning the Stanley Cup? That is something that I hope happens in my lifetime.
Go Leafs Go!
RWQ: If your wedding cake is a Stanley Cup get it done on the Ace of Cakes. I want to see a episode that has a Stanley Cup cake.
I grew up in Connecticut as a New England Whalers fan, and continued with the team when the tied the NHL from the WHA in the late 1970′s…I finally deserted them when it became apparent that their owner would never let them succeed, and tied the Red Wings nation when they had gone nearly 40 years without a cup, so I wasn’t just so grasping onto a winner.
For me, hockey is intense and I’m insanely into it during the season and into the playoffs…I live and die with Detroit…it’s a reminder of my Northeastern roots and, being in Kansas City, it makes me somewhat unique, because there aren’t a ton of hockey fans here.
Thursday nighttime’s game one will be a family outing for us, as we haven’t had satellite (i.e. television) since Friday morning’s tornado roared through our neighborhood, so my wife and two-year ancient and I are venturing about 30 miles to a friend’s house to watch it.
I feel a tear….
The Boston Bruins mean so much to me. Heck, my car is their obnoxious mustard yellow gold color.
There is nothing that hits my heart more than watching them, win or lose. Even when they get absolutely blown out of games.
I mean, I’m a B-liever.
But seriously.
My grandpa was a die-hard Bruins fan, and he introduced me to the game of hockey when I was a wee goober. Every time I watch the B’s play, I reckon of him.
And I smile.
I wish I could say hockey is my life, but school kind of holds that honor -not because I want it to.-
So I will just say the B’s are extreeeeeeeemely high on my list of importantness.
