Im Russian too, and we have a excellent team, with Ovechkin and Semin of course. I’d like to see them with Canada in the end, Winning gold of course!
the russian team sucks because wen you place a team collectively its not all about the most talented or most skilled players its about a team who has a mixture of defense and offense and wen you look at the russian team all they have are shooters and danglers absolutely no one excellent to play on penalty kill or play a excellent two way game

It’s a team with medal potential, that’s for sure. It has one of the most talented rosters of the Olympic teams. I judge that if they can work on playing collectively and improve their power play, they can start scoring goals at the rate we were expecting them to.
A excellent sign is that they played very well defensively against the Czechs. That was one of their supposed weaknesses. I’ll be rooting for Russia, especially if the U.S. goes out.
