Will Versus or the NHL stream the NHL playoffs online for a fee?

Considering the current situation with Versus and DirecTV, it appears that all DirecTV users will be unable to see the NHL playoffs until NBC picks them up in the conference finals. Are there any plans to stream them online either on the Versus website, or through the NHL GameCenter deal? Certainly a fee would be applicable, but considering the situation, such an action would be the right thing to do for fans left out in the cold by the dispute.

During the versus commercial for the 2009 NHL playoffs they show pictures of coaches and players looking up and I can not figure out who the player is shown right after Ovechkin is shown. It’s 17 seconds into the commercial. Thanks!

Will the NHL games that are on Versus be available on NHL center ice in the upcoming season? Last season I seem to remember the VS games weren’t on anywhere except VS, but now since VS is not going to be on direct TV, will the games be on Center Ice instead? And just answer if you know, please dont tell me to call the cable company. Thanks!

I really like the instrumentals heard in the background whenever they came back from commercial, went to intermission, etc in Versus’ TV coverage of the NHL playoffs.
