Who do you feel is the most underrated NHL player?
Based on fact, opinion or anything else I am interested to see who NHL fans believe is the most underrated player in the NHL at this time. My vote goes to Tom Preissing of the San Jose Sharks, he led the teams Defensman in points and and is a very solid performer, playing of the top line and on power play. He definitely does not recieve as much recognition as he should.

The imitators are the benifactors of the hard work by innovators. The innovators are often copied, but never outdone (either by the effort of the imitators or their place in history). What do most professional hockey players eat before a game?
Food. I know that. Do they have a set kind of food they eat to keep stamina up or is a personal choice? Runners eat pasta, what do hockey players eat? This way out of my realm of thinking.

There is a difference between hated and maligned; that being a maligned player is one who has been criticized either fairly or unfairly by teammates, media, and coaches.

Through the years, we as hockey fans gear up for the coming seasons, pick our top players, and enjoy the ride. However, there is one player who beats the odds. This particular player was scouted and doubted by the league’s top talent evaluators and in a career-sense, left for dead. Maybe they overcame a height disadvantage, a disability, tragedy, or illness to become not just a player in the NHL, but a noteworthy contributor.
