Why is it football teams never play the superbowl at home but in hockey, the Stanley cup is played at home?

If there is a super bowl in football, each team plays away at a random stadium but however, if it is a Stanley cup game, one hockey team is playing at home so in other words, a hockey team will be able to win a Stanley cup game at home or the final Stanley cup game? In football, no team can win the super bowl at home though. Why is that?

I never understood what the announcers mean when they say the home team has the last line change in hockey. I looked up the NHL rules regarding changing of players during a game and I couldn’t find anything that said the home team gets the last line change. Can someone explain this to me?

In the NHL before the home team would wear the white jersey and the visitor the colored, now it’s opposite why?

Nowadays, the home teams wears the colored jersey and the visiting team wears the white jersey.

I know there’s the obvious, the crowd and atmosphere. And that the home team gets to choose if they want to shoot first in the shoot out, and the away team gets to put their stick on the ice first on faceoffs. Are there other differences in playing home vs away?
