Recently I played a game and got a 10 minute misconduct for punching someone in front of our net. There was no fight except for 2 punches exchanged, and no one was restrained-we both skated away by choice. I know that in boys hockey this would be a 2 minute penalty for roughing. Why are the rules different?

My school recently cut the field hockey program and i want to tell the school board why they should bring it back. We dont have alot of girls interested but our neighboring town has just enough to keep their team. Could we merge into one team?

My mom’s a field hockey coach and my sister plays on her HS team so I’ve grown up around the sport. I am thinking of trying out for my school in the final year of middle school in the Fall and continuing through HS. But I know it’s not common for guys to play.

So what do girls think of guys who play field hockey and would you be okay with a guy on your team?

I know that in girls hockey they have teams that are seperated into age groups. U10, U12, U16, ect. I was wondering what the rule is on the oldest age for a player on a U16 team.

i’m on a girls hockey team and we really could use the money
we had 40 girls in total for jv and v
but this year we only have 27 girls for jv and v
most of the girls who quit were freshman
we do a rockathon (rocking in rocking chairs) and the money we make for that always goes to skating time

any ideas would be unbelievably awesome

I’m interested in playing with my friend. but we dont know where to go for our age. that is in like white marsh, towson, cockeysville, or perry hall. if you could give a website as well that wuld be great! =) again, we’re not real good and we just want to play rec but we need it for high schoolers.

I play on an all girls hockey team, and im not trying to brag, but im better then everyone else on the team.

do you think its possible for a minor ALL GUYS travel team, to bend the rules and let me join thier team, if im beast at hockey, and even better then some of the guys on thier team?
