Based on the last few seasons, what do you think are the best teams in the NHL right now? I know a lot of people just support the team that is nearest to where they live, but I was wondering what people thought. Also, how do you decide? Purely by wins and losses, or by the performance of certain players? I’m looking for a team to root for.

Who do you think the Blues would go for? I’m so glad they traded for Halak, but I still think they can re-sign Steen and Colaiacovo, plus let go of a few other players.
One last question for Blues fans, is there any possibility of the organization trading brewer or jackman for a draft pick? I don’t really like either of them, and both are up for free agency next summer.
What is the best run franchise in the NHL?
I think it’s the Red Wings. They used to be a bought team, but now there is a salary cap and they are still contenders year in and year out. They lead the NHL, and they have room under the cap for a big trade late in the season.
