If you were drafted to your favorite NHL hockey team, what number would you choose?
I’d point out digit 8 аftеr someone whο I lіkе look up tο аѕ thе kinda palyer I’d wanna bе. Nοt οnlу іѕ hе incredibly talented bυt ουr styles аrе basically јυѕt ѕο thе same. Sο hе wears digit 8 аnd hе′s really really ехсеllеnt. I don’t rесkοn I hаνе tο tеll уου whο thаt іѕ. Anyway whаt wουld bе уουr digit аnd whу?
Oh аnd fοr уουr favorite team…уου hаνе tο take retired numbers іntο consideration, bυt nοt current players wearing thе digit. Wе′ll јυѕt ѕау fοr argument’s sake thаt уου paid thеm οff.

My digit would be 9.
I like 99 better, but that is retired, and no one on the Sharks wears 9, and so I would take that
17, it is my favourite digit.
17 on the capitals….its the day i was born (was born on fathers day) so it reminds me of both my parents and their support for my hockey

89. 1989 was the year that I really started to pay attention to my surroundings. I was 9 years ancient in that year. It was the year I started to learn who I was and what I liked. I started listening to music (I loved hair metal, still do, it was extremely well loved at the time). I started collecting sports cards (I still have them in perfect condition). I had been watching sports for about a year and a half previous to that. But I really started to pay attention to them and follow them closely in that year. It was also the year that my favorite NBA team (Detroit Pistons) won a championship. 1989 was the best year of my childhood. It was my formative years and I’m thankful for 1989 being so awesome.
Other reasons are, 89 has the digit “9″ in it. Gordie Howe, Rocket Richard, Bobby Hull,,,etc, all wore the 9. It tributes them. It also tributes every player that had a 9 in their digit as well. The fantastic “19′s”,,,Steve Yzerman, Bryan Trottier, Larry Robinson, Joe Sakic. And of course the pimp daddy himself, Sergei Fedorov “# 91″ (he shagged Anna Kornikova and Tara Reid,,,too cool!). And last but not least, it’s ten digits away from the Fantastic One Wayne Gretzky.
Depends what year I get drafted. If I get drafted in lets say 2015 I’ll be digit 15.
I would wear #33 for the Avs, but that’s retired so I would wear #3
18 for the blackhawks or 27 on the sabres, since 18 is retired in their franchise. both my only hockey numbers ever
93 cuz that’s the year I was born, plus the higher numbers are less common.

Phoenix Coyotes, I’ve always played as #8 (just what I got on my first team, never cared to change it), but Upshall wears that… so I’d go with my favorite #42, it’s just a solid digit. It’s balanced out between high digit and low digit, and that’s the stylishness I play, balanced offense defense I reckon lol

And for Toronto.
I would point out 27, unless Manny Malhotra of the Sharks doesn’t want to change numbers. In that case, I’d point out 11.
If drafted by the Canadiens i’d want # 9 but it’s already been retired for Maurice Richard

My fav team is Detroit.. I would say 9 by gordie howe has his digit retired.. Second choice would be 19 buy yzerman has it reatired.. So I’m thought I’d settle on 69
