If girls are good enough can they make the hockey team?
If girls аrе ехсеllеnt enough саn thеу mаkе thе Boston College, Boston University, UNH, οr Saint Anselms boys team? I want tο know thе price οf аll 4 schools tοο cause Im tiresome tο influence whаt one tο gο tο.
(price tο attend)
NO you can’t its the Boys team for a reason you won’t be allowed by the federation
plus rich much
But they did in the mighty ducks! lol, wretched had to throw that out there
I honestly do not reckon that there are any girls who could make the D-1 teams of the top NCAA schools, not even the best female Olympians. The game is so physical and quick that I do not reckon that any girl would be quick enough to keep up, and if she was then she would most likely be on one of the best women’s college teams in the country at an elite school like Harvard or Yale and on the U-19 women’s team, etc.
If they’re excellent enough I reckon they could/should but they’d have to be damn excellent! Presumably they would be dominant on the girls team so wouldn’t they want to be the huge fish on a small frozen pond as opposed to a small fish on a huge frozen pond? Ok, terrible analogy admittedly but you catch my drift? That’s not even to mention all the teasing, locker room issues and superfluous pressures on them to go.
Nearly impossible, I don’t reckon there is a rule against it, but girls aren’t nearly as physical and don’t have nearly as much power, although, I do declare some of them can skim better then men. The furthest I have seen a girl progress in hockey is that girl that played for Tampa Bay for a game (The team could be incorrect). In self there was a girl named Amy Allen that played AAA Major Midget with my brother.

I know she is playing for a university or college team in Hamilton, Ontario.
Why would you want to go to a boy’s team anyway? No offense but that would place terrible chemistry in the locker room anyway
.
if you reckon you are excellent enough to make the boys team at Boston College you should look into getting a scholarship at a place with a excellent women’s team. i know lots of ppl who went down to the US to play NCAA and the teams are always loooking for excellent players. if you are excellent enough, you should look that direction rather than playing with boys, especially since it has more to do with the physical differences at that point than skill. i currently play with some of the olympians and it’s a fantastic level of hockey, but we still lost to a men’s league team in a practice game because their shots and size were too much for us (we lost 5-3).
alll in all there are plenty of opportunities to play high levels of hockey on the women’s side of the game, so i recommend you try there first, but to answer you’re question, they couldn’t cut a player because of her gender, so if she was like Wick, she could make the team.
anyways, the women’s game is better because it has more to do with skill than how hard you can hit or how bloody you can make your opponent in a fight
