Just practice. Field Hockey hasn’t really taken root yet so I’m sure they’ll take you on the team or even question the coach or one of the girls to help you.

Just get used to the stick and how to hold it. Like its always in your left hand at top and your aptly hand guides it down below and always hit the ball with the flat side of the stick.

Try to keep the ball under control while in succession and dribbling and scooping.

Try strokes, which are used at the end of tied games and can really influence who wins. People who have nasty hard hits can get long ways because those can influence goals because its hard for the goalie to block at times.

Just work on techniques.
