I need some fundraising ideas for a girl's ice hockey team?
Well, basically, mу school doesn’t hаνе a girl’s ice hockey team ѕο i аm tiresome tο ѕtаrt one. Bυt, between rink time, equipment, аnd ѕο many οthеr costs- wе need a couple thousand dollars tο gеt υѕ οn ουr feet аnd lеt thе athletic director ѕау yes. Please саn someone give mе аnу ехсеllеnt thουghtѕ tο raise thіѕ much money?
A car wash or a bake sale could get you started. Or you could question for donations and reward people with tickets to your games.
Raffle off a signed hockey jersey. One can be obtained from a reputable memorabilia outlet. A jersey estimate $400 could raise a thousand honestly easily. Add a couple of signed sticks and pucks as second and third prizes and the money can be raised quickly and easily. Set up your table at a local arena during a tournament or vital game. And Bob’s your uncle.
Depending on where your team is located, try to work with the local NHL/AHL team (or any sports team). You can raise funds through things like selling programs, working concession stands, etc.
Fifty-fifty raffles are another option.
Some local restaurants have fundraising nights (you get people to show up and eat, and you get a percentage of the proceeds).
My nephew and niece both play hockey; their teams do silent auctions (I donate a pair of tickets to each every year), and last nighttime I ate dinner at a Boston Pizza that was doing a fundraiser for a coworker’s kid.
You can also do affiliate marketing stuff through sites like NHL.com and Amazon.com (essentially, if people go to the site through yours, you get a percentage of whatever you buy).
There’s always the tried-and-right options (silent auctions).
Your local retail shopping centre might be a small-term public sale; something like doing gift wrapping.

Raffles are a fantastic way to make money. What you can do is go to a local bar, (wait, how ancient are you?) Anyways, go some place, like a bar, where you can hold an event. See if you can find DJ’s or bands who are willing to play for free, for the fundraiser. They probably will do it for free anyways.
Next, go around to local businesses and see if they can help sponsor the event. Or, question them to donate something, and in return, you mention their name as you raffle off the prizes.
I know my friend who is on a Roller Derby team does this ALL the time. She says it’s a fantastic way to buy time at the roller rink, and buy jersey’s for the team.
Talking to your local NHL team would be fantastic too.
It’s a lot of hard work, but worth the effort… and get all the girls who are interested in it to help out too.
Or, you can try and have a carnival or something.
