i know that Dustin Byfuglien was on the ice about 6-7 hours a day because he had an arena aptly by his house. After school he would head aptly over there and come back at like 8 or 9pm. I’m sure the best players in the NHL spent even more time than that.

I’m sweet sure it’s more than that. Wouldn’t be surprised if some skated previous to they walked.
some practiced more than that , some are just really talented and didnt practice at all other than their organized hockey.
