go to your teams website and click on “players”..

This usually will get you enough.. Wikipedia is also very in-depth as well..

NHL.com has a tool that allows you to search for a player and gives you their birthplace, position, team, and season/career stats. Other than that, a few of the more well loved players have their own websites, but other than that it’s kind of hit and miss. Here’s a link to the NHL.com tool: http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&page=PlayerSearchPage

    Google is a fantastic tool.

go to nhl.com and do a player search. Or go to the team websites and look at the rosters

You can buy (usually on ebay only) what’s called a media guide, which is a book made for the sports writers at the beginning of the season and has MUCH more indepth information that most of the team’s websites do now that the NHL has standardized them and taken away alot of the private information.
Also, and you have to take the info with a grain of salt for sure, but go on the hockey blogs or on the boards, there’s a lot of discussions there and you can usually pick up tidbits of information.

These are all excellent answers but if you can wait backstage after a game with your VIP pass, then you can probably take one of them home and get to know everything that’s not on the stat sheets.

Go to the teams website, and look around…
