Could the KHL pose an actual threat to the international supremacy of the NHL?
I јυѕt read thаt thеу′re promoting аn open-air “Winter Classic” type game. Jagr left thе NHL tο play thеrе, аnd thеу mаdе a hυgе play fοr Malkin. Cаn wе expect tο see thе NHL hаνе tο compete fοr thе best players іn thе future?
I don’t reckon so, but i could take a lot of the European talent back overseas, but I don’t reckon you’ll get a huge migration of North American talent vacant over.
In a word….NO. Most pros want to play in the best hockey league with the best players. It will continue to be a dying ground for has beens and players with attitudes.
i dont reckon so
In Europe it will soon be as well loved as the NHL, i hear they are planing on expanding to Sweden, Finland or Czech Republic
Only if Gary Bet-Mann ruins as Commissioner of NHL.
Not in this lifetime.
The NHL is still the best league, and will attract the best players. Look at Radulov’s complete waffling.
It’s a place for guys to play, and will attract some talent, but the right best players in the world…the NHL.
