Hardball roller hockey is skated in over 55 countries and was started in the 1800′s by England who passed it on to the European continent. England, Spain, Portugal and Italy then passed on to Africa, Australia, Macau, New Zealand, North and South America. The rules developed from soccer and have been bespoke over the years. The main difference between Hardball and Inline roller hockey is the equipment. Hardball roller hockey is played with a stick similar to field hockey in design and length with a hardball like field hockey.
