I don’t know about D3, but the most tropical place for D1 is Huntsville, Alabama. There may be club teams at some more southern schools.

Countryboy – Miami University is Miami of Ohio. Not Florida.

I don’t know about D1, but I know Miami University is up there, a lot of fantastic hockey players came from Miami U judge it or not, its a nice school. Florida should be hot enough.

Edit- I was talking about University of Miami, wretched for the mix-up. My fault. They do have a really excellent roller hockey team. The other schools listed are fantastic too, never thaught of those. Thanks for the corrrections.

I live in South Florida. I know that the University of Miami has a roller hockey team but not ice hockey. I know that Florida Atlantic University does have an ice hockey team. I judge it is D3 It is in it’s second year this year. The University of Southern Florida ( in Orlando) also has an ice hockey team which is honestly new also. Not sure if it is ranked yet. Those are the only schools in this state that I know have teams .
EDIT JB There is a University of Miami in Florida. They are the ones I am talking about with the roller hockey team. They have not expanded in to ice hockey , but yes the University of Miami , in Ohio has a really excellent ice hockey program. I can know why the other guy got those schools confused most people only reckon of Miami as being in Florida
