Based on fact, opinion or anything else I am interested to see who NHL fans believe is the most underrated player in the NHL at this time. My vote goes to Tom Preissing of the San Jose Sharks, he led the teams Defensman in points and and is a very solid performer, playing of the top line and on power play. He definitely does not recieve as much recognition as he should.

They are narrower in NHL – is that really better? Has it always been like that?

I still enjoy watching NHL games but it seems to me that the game has been watered down. You know I am a huge Red Wings fan and I reall started watching b ack in the heyday of the Colorado/Detroit rivalry. The passion and all out support of ones teamates seems to be a thing of the past. I will not lie I miss fighting. All season long I have not seen more than two fights. Dammit it is part of the game. If the fans enjoy it and the players still have the willingness and the ability to do it then why does it seem like the NHL leadership has completely tried to eradicate it?

In the NHL, coaches are sometimes wrongly fired, either for leading a snakebitten team, a personality conflict with a primadonna superstar, or the ownership simply does not like him. My question is simply this: as far as former NHL coaches go, which one do you feel was wrongly fired and deserves another chance?

I did the nhl draft with a goalie and i was chosing by the blackhawks. wen i tried to get a helmet with the blackhawks design on it, there was no option for it. so i had to choose a gay red one. Is there anyway i can pick from the team like in nhl 09 be a pro?

I’m looking for a website that lists historic figures for NHL attendance on a game-by-game basis, not annual averages.

Hi guys. I am not American so i don’t know the rules of NHL. I have been watching the fights of NHL. The referees are not doing anything to the people who fight or punch each other. But when one of the players falls down, the referees try to stop them?

Why?

Is there a rule that punches are allowed unless one player falls down?
So do the players who fight get punishment because of the fight?

Like soccer red card yellow card? Something like that? Money punishment exc?
